Yesterday in a conversation on our first results, with Curdin and Philipp Kolmann, we realized how close these drawings, the work method, and artistic questions fit in our earlier work that was informed by digital technologies.

This summer we use paper pencil and some water to do a series of experiments with drawing cow grazing patterns by hand. We observe how the herd moves, at moments very determined to follow a path in a particular direction, alternated by drifting more apart as a maze of grazing. The small pack continues.

After the first experiments that we did in Salland (Netherlands), we are kindly invited by Curdin Tones at Somalgors74 (Tschlin CH) to continue this work in the Engadin Alps.
